Tricia has worked in the bond markets as a dealer for over 15 years, and joined Bridport in January 2006. She offers the clients a personalised service depending on the level of information or advice required. "I have dealt with many of the same clients during my time at bridport, and many have become close friends as well as clients." She likes entertaining and is well known within the finance industry in Jersey. Her hobbies include travelling and listening to music, and she can usually be found down at the beach after work, walking her pet dogs.

Simon Bakewell

Simon joined bridport’s sales trading desk in July 2006. “ I provide fixed income and equity market coverage to mainly Anglo-Saxon clients, concentrating on offshore territories.” Having previously worked for Brewin Dolphin London/Jersey offices as part of a fixed income execution team for six years, Simon joined BNP Paribas Jersey as a fixed income and equities sales trader. Simon hails from the outskirts of London, moving to Jersey in 2000 having worked in the city for five years. Away from work he spends his time on the golf course, playing football, out socializing, or on the slopes, snowboarding whenever possible.

Cavan works in sales, predominately assisting clients with special requests. He likes to set himself new challenges and goals on a regular basis. “I joined the Jersey team back in January 2001 and I mainly help clients with retail size orders, giving them idea lists to fill their ever changing criteria.” When he is not at work he is usually helping out one of his relatives anyway he is able; from setting up the internet, to oyster farming down at La Roque.

David Reid

David joined bridport in June 2007, having just returned to the island after travelling the world for the previous nine months. Before travelling he worked closely with the investment management team at Collins Stewart Jersey. “I’m looking forward to working with the Bridport team, with it being a small office it will help my future development and knowledge of markets.” He is a keen footballer and often watches his beloved Glasgow Rangers.

Gary has joined briport having worked in financial services for over 10 years. He spent 7 years as an Investment Manager with Collins Stewart specialising in Technical Analysis, more recently he took 2 years out to trade his personal account and develop a rule based trading system. Gary has joined to help provide analysis on fixed income markets and instruments. “I am excited to be joining an experienced and focussed team of professionals and hope to add value in the areas of analysis and research”. Outside of work Gary enjoys reading, running and spending time with his young family.

Leon joined bridport’s sales desk in July 2010. Previously working for Lloyds Banking Group, he has 4 years experience within the Back office and as a Broker Liaison for their Private Banking Investment Team. “I’m looking forward to joining the Fixed Income Desk at bridport and I hope the experience and knowledge I have gained in my previous roles, will help me with my future development within the company”. Out of the office, Leon is a keen sportsman who enjoys playing as much football and golf as possible.
